The event which is hosted by Advice IQ will celebrate the work of financial advisors and promote the necessity of each American household having a financial advisor. It will conclude the week by awarding one free college scholarship (see below).
NFAW will have a dynamic array of advisor panels throughout each day covering many relevant topics for individuals. There will also be resource booths and sponsored events. There will be over 30 investment and finance related panels, moderated by financial industry experts and advisors that will be free for the public.
Dan and I are honored to be participating in this year’s event on Wednesday, September 17th from 4 to 5 pm. We will be on a panel which focuses on how miscommunication between couples can hinder wealth creation and how to discuss family finances without tripping emotional minefields. Please stop by and see us!
A complete list of the numerous event be held each day can be found here: NFAW
In addition to the numerous panels and topics being addressed, NFAW is also offering a college tuition sweepstakes in which the winner will receive full tuition, room and board, and books for four years at the college of his or her choice by the fall of 2016. You can not beat that.
Nick Stuller, CEO of AdviceIQ. said
Students (parents can also register on behalf of their son or daughter) across the country can register to win HERE and will be able to enter codes on the website to increase their odds until Tuesday, September 16 at 5:00pm EST. To qualify, students must be entering a four-year college by the fall of 2016.
AdviceIQ and the sponsors of National Financial Advisor Week fully believe in the importance of a college degree. However, we recognize the financial burden a four-year education can impose upon students and their families. By offering to pay for a student’s full tuition, room and board, and books we hope to provide the opportunity for a student to obtain their education goals at the school of their choosing. Our goal is to provide the foundation for long-term financial health.
Since September is College Savings Month, the winner will be announced at the first annual National Financial Advisor Week by AdviceIQ and fellow sponsors on Thursday, September 18 at the Times Square Plaza, New York City at 4:00pm.
What a great chance to win a college education for your child!
