Independent Objective Financial Advice

This is a video post where Weston Wellington a Vice President with Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA) discusses the value individuals receive from a financial advisor.

He discusses how an advisor can be a source of independent advice helping to separate the emotions often associated with money from the decision-making.  Emotions often impact important decisions and having someone not involved in the emotions allows for a second opinion.

He discusses how even major professionals in sports such as tennis greats Roger Federer and Serena Williams and golf greats Jason Day and Rory McIlroy all have coaches helping them through their sports careers.  It allows an objective independent ongoing source of advice from someone who they trust: a reasoned second opinion.
