We have discussed that we are strong believers of the firm Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA). We use their funds to capture specific asset class exposure to the various financial markets throughout the world. This week, one of the founders, Eugene Fama has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics. He is currently a Robert R. McCormick Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and currently a Director and Consultant to DFA.
Professor Gene Fama has been a pioneer with groundbreaking work on asset pricing and markets who inspired the founding of Dimensional, and his ongoing contributions have guided DFA’s investment approach for more than three decades.
We extend our congratulations to Gene for this well-deserved recognition and thank him for his profound impact on Dimensional, our clients and investors worldwide.
