Seems logical that having an airline credit card would bring the most benefits for travelers, but what the airlines don’t tell you is that it has become more difficult and more expensive to cash in your miles for upgrades or free tickets. Those free bags are “free” only after you pay the credit card’s annual fee, which generally starts at around $95. There are better cards to consider to help get you the most back for your spending.
